In March 2018, we moved into a brand new, custom built factory at Luscombe, South of Brisbane. While many hours were spent planning the perfect layout for the new factory, there were also many hours spent looking at ways to create a more sustainable future by reducing our carbon footprint as our contribution to protect the environment.
The main factor in deciding the layout of our new factory was to physically streamline our processes from sales and prepress through to production, finishing and despatch, allowing room for expansion in the future.
We also wanted to achieve open plan office space to encourage improved communication between all departments.
Our professional builder and his team of experts supported us to convert our visions and high expectations into a living, modern facility that we are very proud of presenting to all interested parties who would like to visit us.
Label Plus invested substantially in a 100kw Solar system covering over 630sqm of our roof space. Not only does this substantially reduce our own power consumption, but we also qualified to export power back to the grid, playing our part reducing the carbon footprint.
In addition, we commissioned the latest model of an HP Indigo digital printing machine which has been designed for the best quality output and also further reduces power consumption.
